The time it took you to respond you could have detailed where your traffic is coming from.

A forum is NOT just for spamming but informing webmasters of the service you offer, but it seems all you want to do is collect email addresses - makes you wonder about the quality of this traffic you are offering

just to fill you in on general board etiquette... that's about the best way to make sure somebody gets tense with you

I'm sure you think you are answering the question and have your own way of handling requests and that there are LOTS of people who handle things in this way on boards... BUT...

you're really not doing yourself or your service any favors. There are LOTS of members on this and every board that only read the threads for information. By not posting a solid reply, you're losing options on getting business from people. If you're going to take the time to post on the boards, you'll server yourself and potential customers FAR better by posting program information in the thread versus thinking that it will be more efficient by being able to send the same email to many people who reply.
